Terms of Service
Last updated 10 July 2026
1. Who we are
HYE ("Higher Than Yesterday") is a service provided by Antler Consult. These terms are an agreement between you and Antler Consult, covering the app, the one-to-one bookings made through it, and the personalised recordings we make for you.
Your care is delivered by one of our practitioners, each a qualified UK hypnotherapist. Today that is John Hadley.
2. What HYE is, and what it isn't
HYE offers wellbeing support in the style of solution-focused hypnotherapy: one-to-one sessions with your therapist, and personalised recordings for you to listen to between them. It supports how you feel; it does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychiatric condition, and it is not a substitute for your GP or any treatment you're receiving.
HYE is not a crisis service. If you're in crisis or worried about your safety, call Samaritans free on 116 123, or 999 in an emergency. Our crisis page lists more support.
3. Your account
You sign in with an email link or your Google account, so anyone with access to your inbox can access your account: keep your email secure. You must be 18 or over to use HYE.
4. Sessions and payment
Sessions are booked through the Book page. You choose from the times available and the booking is confirmed straight away. You can cancel or reschedule from the same page, and we will contact you if a session ever has to move.
Sessions are paid for by card when you book, or included in a membership. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; HYE never holds your card details.
5. Your recordings
Your recordings are made from scripts a practitioner has written or approved, and are spoken by a cloned voice licensed to us by the practitioner it belongs to. They are for your own personal use.
Please don't copy, share, resell, or re-record them, and don't use any part of them to clone or imitate that voice elsewhere.
6. Using HYE fairly
Don't use HYE to harm yourself or others, to probe or disrupt the service, or to access anyone else's data. We can suspend accounts that put other members, our practitioners, or the service at risk.
7. Your data
How we collect, use, and protect your information (your email address, your bookings, and your recordings) is set out in our Privacy Notice. You can delete your account and everything in it from your profile page at any time, or write to hyehypnosis@gmail.com to ask for a copy of your data.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep HYE available and calm, but like any online service it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces what you get, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it. Beyond that, HYE isn't liable for losses that come from relying on it as medical care (it isn't), or from events outside our reasonable control. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions, or something not right? Write to us at hyehypnosis@gmail.com and we'll sort it out with you.
